The chatter-free smoothness of the Laser GS paired with the playful, versatile feel of the Montero AX distinguish this athletic all-mountain ski. And with its waist of 84 mm, it knows how to show its stuff in fluffy powder. With this ski, you can turn the mountain into your personal playground.
The gradual bending up of the ski at its tip and tail is called the rocker. Stöckli modifies the rocker according to the type of ski. Typically, the longer and more pronounced the rocker, the more lift is generated and the more responsive and easy-turning the ski becomes.

Light Core & Super Light Core

Full Edge Contact
The widest points of the ski are set further forward or back. This makes the shovel grip faster and the part of the edge in contact with the snow when the ski is tilted becomes longer.

ADAPTIVE CONTACT LENGTH
The widest point on the shovel is set further forward. Together with a slight rocker (more gradual up-bend of the shovel), the more the ski is tilted, the further forward the contact point of the edge with the snow moves. This preserves its nimble characteristics without sacrificing stability and grip during the turn.

Tail Rocker
Rocker: A longer rocker at the tail with a flatter radius.

Flex Torsion Control
An S-shaped notch in the aluminum at the shovel and tail of the ski offers softer flex and torsion at the front and rear. As a result, the ski exhibits more torsional flex, making it easier to initiate turns. At the same time, when changing direction, the ski remains under control because the torsion can adapt.

Genau das was ich gesucht hatte! Weite und Enge Schwünge mit einer nie vorher gespürten Leichtigkeit. Super auf Eis und auch abseits der Piste. Fährt sich „leichter“ als der SL.

These things are insanely incredible. Be far the best skies I've ever been on. Quiet, damp, playful, fast, stable, and they sure turn heads in the lift line, lol! I couldn't be happier. If you are serious about gettin' after it on the hill, drop the $$$ and get yourself a pair of these Montero AR's. You will not regret. Game on!

It carves any shape, it is very stable, quiet, no vibrations and consistent. Try new things with it and the ski will reward you. It takes a couple of days to unleash it as you discover it. I would say probably the best ski. Thank you Stockli !!!

Mein absoluter Lieblingsski. Der Montero AR funktioniert bei fast bei allen Schneeverhältnissen perfekt. Ich fahre gerne zügig, aber mit der Familie halt dann auch mal langsamer. Der AR ist bei Speed stabil und trotzdem bei langsamer Fahrt sehr wendig. Aus meiner Sicht der beste Ski (für mich) den ich je gefahren bin.

Ein sehr guter und Spurtreuer Ski. Da ich daneben noch einen Stöckli SL Fis fahre und einen Ski suchte der bei sehr weichen Pisten oder neben der Piste gemütlicher zum fahren ist als der Slalomski bin ich voll zufrieden. Habe den Ski diesen Winter nun ca. 25 Tage gefahren und bereue keinen einzigen Tag.

C'est avec une vitesse est un peu plus élevée, il "développe" tout son potentiel. Si en skiant samedi un peu sur la réserve, il allait déjà bien, il devenait vraiment exceptionnelle avec une conduite plus sportif. Mon prochain ski.
