Successful weekend in Lenzerheide

Stöckli celebrates three podium finishes by three different women athletes in the Alpine Graubünden ski resort of Lenzerheide.

Successful weekend in Lenzerheide

Already on Friday, the Slovenian Ana Bucik was a surprise in the super combined. Sitting in 30th after the Super-G, she jumped into the top group thanks to a strong slalom run. In the end, she ended up in third and thus recorded the first podium finish of her career. Two weeks before Korea, precisely the right timing.

Stöckli barely had time to recover from this sensational success, when the next day two other athletes put in strong races in the giant slalom. Viktoria Rebensburg, the discipline’s overall leader, put in two very solid runs and ended up in second. The biggest surprise of the race, however, was Meta Hrovat. The 19-year-old Stöckli athlete catapulted herself into third overall after a brilliant second run. It was the first ever podium finish for her too!

Congrats to all of our athletes for the fantastic results this weekend. We hope that everything goes just as well in Korea.
