Victory for Viktoria after her return
After a two-week mandatory break due to a virus, Vicky crowned her comeback with a victory in Kronplatz.
In Kronplatz, South Tyrol, Viktoria Rebensburg won a giant slalom for the third time this season. After a solid first run where she moved into third, she skied a sensational second run (best time for the run), as she often has done this winter. This decided the race in her favor over Norwegian Ragnhild Mowinckel and Italian Federica Brignone.
With this victory, the Stöckli racer moved into the overall lead in the discipline rankings and is thus positioned as a serious contender for Pyeongchang!
And by the way our two women Slovakian athletes Meta Hrovat (19) and Ana Bucik (27) also earned points. Congrats to all!
